The Duke and Duchess of Sussex managed to pull off a secret honeymoon – in Africa!

A close source told E! News the newlyweds - who tied the knot at St. Georges Chapel on 19 May - travelled to East Africa and visited two countries, where they participated in various outdoor adventures and safaris.

"It was the perfect break and blend of their passions," the source said.
"Restorative and the perfect holiday before starting a very busy second half of 2018."
But the suspected honeymoon destination comes as no surprise. Harry and Meghan vacationed in a lodge in Zambia last year and the 36-year-old’s wedding ring was specially sourced from Botswana by the prince.
"We camped out with each other under the stars. She came and joined me for five days out there, which was absolutely fantastic," Prince Harry said in their first joint interview with BBC.
A few months before the wedding, the royal couple announced they’d be delaying their honeymoon to fulfill their royal duties, reports People.
"The couple will be going on honeymoon, but not straightaway," Kensington Palace spokesperson Jason Knauf said at the time.
"They will have their first engagement as a married couple in the week after the wedding."
Although it was previously reported the pair would be spending their honeymoon in Canada, an insider told Elle that the Duke and Duchess have always had a soft spot for Africa.
"The couple has been keen to explore other countries in Africa, and I’m certain we’ll see them do that on this honeymoon."
